BOCHUM NORDBAHNHOF MEMORIAL SITE
During the Nazi era, Bochum-Nord railway station was a central location for Nazi crimes in the city. As in many cities of similar size, the station had two realities: deportations in the early morning and passenger traffic in the afternoon. A coexistence that must seem absurd in hindsight.
I was asked to make this visible with two murals, which now hang side by side in the entrance hall for the permanent exibition.
